Laktosefreie frische Vollmilch
A fresh whole milk with a greatly reduced lactose content and at least 3.7 per cent fat: Hemme Milch from the Wedemark balances out the typical sweetness of lactose-free milk so that it tastes like real milk.
What sets this product apart
In lactose-free milk the milk sugar is split into glucose and galactose, which is why it naturally tastes sweeter. The farm dairy tempers this sweetness with a gentle process, and the result tastes not oversweet but of milk: full-bodied, with hardly any cooked note. Many industrial products in the chiller cabinet alter the composition so much that they may no longer be called milk; the Hemme milk may.
The Hemme family has farmed in the Wedemark since 1589 and today keeps 450 dairy cows. The business processes the raw milk right there on site, in its own dairy: that guarantees exceptional freshness and makes every step of production traceable. With a team of 60, the family produces milk, yoghurt, pudding & more, sold under its own name.
Convincing, genuinely not the usual sweetish taste of lactose-free milk, the cooked note is barely pronounced.
