What sets this product apart
Fennel sets the tone; lemon balm, nettle & apple mint make the blend soft and harmonious. All the herbs grow under German Bioland cultivation, where cooler temperatures let the plants develop particularly high levels of essential oils. The recipe needs no additives, and each harvest determines how much is available: contract farming prevents overproduction, and short distances from the field to packing in Leer keep the herbs fresh.
The J. Bünting Teehandelshaus is one of Germany's oldest tea trading houses: more than 200 years of tea expertise from Leer, and since 1935 its “Grünpack” black tea has been part of East Frisian tea culture. Bünting has repeatedly been ahead of the field: in 1999 it introduced rooibos tea to Germany, in 2007 came the organic range & in 2018 it became the first brand to offer loose organic teas. 2026 brings the “Der Tee ohne Weltreise” range (the tea without a world trip), Germany's first organic herbal tea range grown entirely under German Bioland cultivation.
