A fine aroma sits on the powerful, malty base, and the tea finishes spicy and brisk. In the cup it glows copper-brown; taken the classic East Frisian way, with cream, it tastes particularly well balanced. And it goes a long way: 500 grams make up to 600 cups.
The Thiele family has traded in tea in Emden since 1873, more than 150 years of East Frisian tea history. Today Franz, Celine & Lennart Thiele run the family business together in the third and fourth generation, with devotion to tea as a natural product. Values and knowledge pass from one generation to the next, keeping a centuries-old East Frisian cultural tradition alive.
